Network Design Web App
Design clean VLAN & IP plans
for new network sites.
Network Designer is an opinionated web application for greenfield deployments.
Each site gets a dedicated /16
(10.<site-id>.0.0/16) with predictable VLAN-to-subnet mapping.
No spreadsheets. No overlap. No redesign later.
- MSPs: consistent designs across customer sites
- IT teams: repeatable branch office templates
- Homelabs: clean IP plans that scale with you
Built for new sites, labs, and templates — not for auditing or fixing existing networks.
How it works
-
Pick a Site ID
Reserves
10.<id>.0.0/16for that location. - Select networks Management, VoIP, Office, Guest, plus custom VLANs.
- Size by devices Auto /24–/23, split /23, or override (/22+) with warnings.
- Export & deploy CSV/PDF + vendor CLI preview templates.
Example
Site 54 → 10.54.0.0/16
Pattern
VLAN 20 → 10.54.20.0/24 (auto-size)
Guest
Isolated (still exported)
Wizard
Step-by-step network design for a new location. One location = one 10.xxx.0.0/16.

Step 1 - New Location Setup
Choose a unique Site ID (xxx) to reserve 10.xxx.0.0/16. (99 is reserved for Guest VLAN ID and excluded from random site picks.)
Reserved site network: 10.<site-id>.0.0/16
Best-practice concept
- Each location gets its own /16 (no overlap)
- VLAN X maps to 10.<site-id>.X.0 by default
- Guest VLAN is isolated (not routed over IPsec)
